MAKE THE NEXT STEP PAYMENT
Give every offer the right way to pay
When a customer is ready, give them a clear way to pay from a message, your website or a social post. Choose the type that matches what you are offering.
For business owners and teams. Kady can help you along the way.
THE OUTCOME
Turn interest into an actionable payment page.
A post can explain your offer; the link gives the customer a way to act. Send it in a text or email, place it on your website, or use a QR code on a printed sign. You do not need to build a checkout website first.
| Type | Use it when | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Flexible amount | The customer needs to enter the amount. | An agreed variable service amount, with clear instructions. |
| Fixed amount | You set the price using the link's items. | A $45 consultation offer. |
| Donations | The visitor chooses a contribution. | A fundraiser with suggested amounts and custom entry. |
| Package / Sessions | The purchase includes redeemable visits. | Five coaching sessions purchased together. |
| Tickets | You sell admission or passes. | A workshop ticket with limited availability. |
For a specific customer's exact balance, consider sending a bill from their profile. A general flexible link asks the payer to enter an amount; it does not identify an existing unpaid bill for them.
Create a page that explains what the customer gets.
- Choose the type. Open Links at Stores/links > Create link > Payment. Choose Flexible amount, Fixed amount or Donations. Create packages and tickets in Packages & Tickets > Create New.
- Set the offer and pricing. Add the fixed-price items, enter the flexible-payment instructions, or configure suggested donation amounts. For packages/tickets, set the option prices and availability in their editor.
- Collect useful details. Add customer information questions only when you need them to fulfill the purchase. Use clear labels and mark genuinely necessary answers as required.
- Review checkout. Check tax, fee payer, available tip options, expiration and pause settings. Payment methods and fees depend on your business setup and eligibility; review the options actually shown.
- Explain the next step. Use Appearance for the image, heading and message. If useful, customize After payment with a receipt message. Writing help from Kady can help you make the offer and follow-up clear. Apply the draft, then Save changes.
- Review and share. In Links, choose QR & share, then Open to review the customer view. Copy/share the actual URL or download the QR. Check that the correct price, business and instructions appear before distributing it.
EXAMPLE: AN OFFER IN A SOCIAL POST
Give an interested follower a specific next step.
A consultant advertises a $45 introductory review. They create a Fixed amount link with that item, explain what is included and add a receipt message telling the customer how to arrange the meeting.
The post points customers to the consultant's Flex Link in their profile, with a button named Buy an introductory review. The consultant checks the transaction before confirming payment and arranges the appointment separately. Buying this offer alone does not reserve a time.
Keep payment collection deliberate.
- Sell is the staff workflow. Use Sell on an eligible link when collecting or requesting payment for a customer yourself. Opening the public address shows the customer page. Donations do not offer Sell.
- Keep addresses useful. Edit the existing link to change its offer while retaining its address and QR. Pause or expiry can make it unavailable; publishing an expired link does not clear its expiration.
- Verify the result. Opening a link, saving a payment method or receiving a screenshot is not proof of payment. Check the actual bill or transaction status.
- Choose the right social placement. Use a clickable profile, story or message location supported by the platform. Caption URLs may not be clickable. A QR is useful on print or a second screen; a tappable link is easier on the customer's current phone.
Read the packages and tickets guide for redemption, or the Flex Links guide for several offers behind one social address.
YOU HAVE HELP
Start with the outcome. Ask Kady for the steps.
Open Kady from your KadePay menu and describe what you want your customer to do. Kady can explain the workflow, help you choose the right tool and guide you through setup.
"I sell a fixed-price consultation and also collect variable service amounts. Help me choose payment-link types and explain what to check before sharing them."
Review your settings and customer page before sharing. When an editor offers Create with Kady or writing help, you can work on the draft there too.
