LESS WAITING AT CHECKOUT
Scan, pay and get on with your day
Post one QR code on your wall and let customers start paying from their own phones. Store pay direct helps nail salons, hair salons, barbers and other service businesses keep checkout moving while the team keeps serving.
For business owners and teams. Kady can help you along the way.
THE OUTCOME
Make paying part of the visit, with less waiting at the counter.
The manicure is finished, the haircut looks great and the next customer is ready. Instead of waiting for someone to send a payment link, the customer can scan your posted Store pay direct QR and begin checkout on their own phone. Agree on the service amount, let them follow the payment steps, then confirm the payment in KadePay.
One QR, many visits
Use your business's built-in payment destination again for the next customer, even when the service amount changes.
Customers can start
They scan from the chair, mirror or reception area without waiting for a separate text or a new link.
Keep the team moving
Staff can wrap up the service and prepare for the next visit while the customer works through checkout.
This works well when the final amount is agreed in person: nail services and add-ons, cuts and styling, barber services, beauty treatments and similar visits. The time saved comes from starting checkout sooner and reducing handoffs; bank payout timing still follows your payment setup.
Get your QR, post it and show your team the flow.
- Choose the correct business and open Links. In Links at Stores/links, search for Store pay direct. It is already built in; you do not need to create a new payment link for each customer.
- Review the customer destination. Choose QR & share, then Open and Open customer view. Check that the page identifies your business. Follow the sign-in prompts if you want to review the next step.
- Download and post the real QR. Choose Download QR in the share panel. Put the downloaded code on a sign with your business name and a clear instruction: "Scan to pay. Please confirm your service amount with your stylist." Keep the whole code visible with a clear margin around it.
- Place it where the visit ends. A wall beside the styling mirror, nail station, barber chair or reception desk makes the next step easy to find. Use a readable print size and check that a phone can scan it from the customer's position without glare.
- Use the same short handoff each time. Tell the customer the agreed amount, invite them to scan and ask them to complete the payment steps. Have a team member confirm the result before treating the visit as paid.
What the customer does
- Scan the posted QR with their phone camera and open the link.
- Check the business name, choose Continue to payment and sign in if prompted.
- Enter the amount agreed with the team, review the total, choose an available payment method and complete payment.
- Let the team know they have finished so the business can check the payment record.
Available methods and any charges shown at checkout depend on the business's payment settings. A scan opens the payment flow; the customer still needs to finish it.
EXAMPLE: A BUSY NAIL SALON
Finish the manicure, then scan from the chair.
Bloom Salon posts its Store pay direct QR beside the nail station. At the end of a visit, the technician says: "Your service is $45. You can scan the code here to pay. Please enter $45 and follow the steps on your phone."
The customer opens the salon's payment page, signs in if asked, enters the amount and completes checkout. The technician checks the business's transaction record for the correct customer, amount and payment status before marking the visit paid.
The next customer uses the same QR for their own agreed amount. The salon can reduce checkout handoffs without preparing a separate link for every walk-in.
A few habits keep scan-to-pay running smoothly.
- Agree on the amount first. Store pay direct is a general payment entry, so the customer needs to know what to enter. Include agreed add-ons in the amount you explain.
- Check the actual payment. Open Transactions for the selected business and confirm the customer, amount and status. An opened page, pending attempt or customer screenshot alone does not confirm a completed payment. For a manual external payment, follow the normal verification process.
- Use a bill link for an existing bill. If you already sent a specific bill, share that bill's own link so payment reaches the intended record. Store pay direct does not identify an existing invoice from your wall sign.
- Use a payment link for a named offer. For a set-price service, an offer description or a package, read the payment links guide. Your wall QR is useful for an amount agreed at the visit.
- Try the printed sign before displaying it. Scan the real code, check the business name and review the page. Keep the sign clean and offer staff help if a customer cannot scan or complete checkout.
The built-in link follows your store's settings and cannot be unpublished separately. Find more customer destinations in the Links, profile and permissions guide.
YOU HAVE HELP
Start with the outcome. Ask Kady for the steps.
Open Kady from your KadePay menu and describe what you want your customer to do. Kady can explain the workflow, help you choose the right tool and guide you through setup.
"I run a nail salon and want customers to pay by scanning a QR on the wall. Where do I find Store pay direct, how do I download its QR, and how should my team confirm payment?"
Review your settings and customer page before sharing. When an editor offers Create with Kady or writing help, you can work on the draft there too.
