ONE ACCOUNT, MANY BUSINESSES
One login, every business
Run more than one business without signing out and back in. Keep each business's activity and settings in its own profile, then switch to the business you need from the same KadePay account.
For business owners and teams. Kady can help you along the way.
THE OUTCOME
Your businesses stay organized. Your login stays the same.
You might own a salon and a barber shop, manage separate business locations, or help different businesses as a team member. One KadePay account can have access to multiple business profiles. You can own some businesses and be invited to work with others.
Sign in once
Use your existing account to reach the businesses you own or have permission to manage.
Keep business context clear
Each business has its own payments, calendar and settings. Choose where you are working before you begin.
Move between businesses
Use Switch on desktop or the business picture on your phone's main screen to choose another business.
A business profile is separate from your personal profile. Editing your personal name or photo does not create another business.
Add another business to your existing account.
- Sign in with the account you already use. Keep using that login when registering another business.
- Open My Stores from your menu. This screen lists your businesses and any pending invitations.
- Choose Register new business. Follow the setup shown for the new business, using its own name, contact details, address and other requested information. Review its payment setup and plan choices as prompted.
- Finish or resume that business's setup. If you already started registering it, continue the existing setup instead of creating a duplicate. Each new profile needs its own setup; do not assume the first business's settings have been copied.
- Check the business name before starting work. Return to your businesses and select the one you want to use.
If the business already exists under someone else's ownership, ask its owner to invite your existing account. Open My Stores > Pending Invitations, check the business name and choose Accept. Your access depends on the role that business gives you. A dedicated business-managed staff login may not show Register new business.
Switch businesses on a computer
- Find the current business name near the top of the sidebar.
- Choose Switch beside it. In the Switch store dialog, check the business shown under Current store.
- Under Switch to another store, choose the business you want. Use Search stores to find it in a longer list. The app reloads for that business.
- Confirm the business name in the sidebar before sending a bill, taking a payment or changing settings.
Switch businesses on a phone
- Return to KadePay's main screen.
- Tap the current business picture in the header. Its accessible label is Choose store.
- The panel shows Current store and the businesses available to your account. Tap the business you want.
- Check the business name on the refreshed screen or in Menu before continuing.
The switching controls appear when more than one business is available. You can switch back the same way, without signing out.
EXAMPLE: TWO BUSINESSES, ONE OWNER
Check the salon, then plan the barber shop's day.
Jordan already manages Bloom Salon in KadePay. Jordan signs in with the same account, opens My Stores and chooses Register new business to set up Northside Barber.
In the morning, Jordan selects Bloom Salon and reviews its transactions. Next, Jordan chooses Switch, selects Northside Barber and opens Appointments to review that shop's day.
The login is the same, while each screen follows the selected business. Jordan checks the displayed business name before sending a customer a bill or sharing a business link.
Make the right business easy to recognize.
- Use clear names and logos. Select the business, then open Store Configuration and Basic Information to update the details your access allows.
- Finish an open edit before switching. Save your work and check the name again when returning to an older tab. Confirm the business shown in any bill or payment screen before submitting.
- Expect different permissions. Owning one business does not grant owner access to another. Its owner manages staff access in Store Configuration > Manage Users.
- If a business is missing, check My Stores. Confirm the signed-in account and look for a pending invitation. Ask the owner to check your access if it is still missing.
- Review each profile's setup. Payment processing, plan choices and enabled features depend on that business. Registration alone does not mean payment processing is approved.
- Share the selected business's link. Open its Links screen and use the actual customer destination. The Links, profile and permissions guide explains which link to choose.
Switching selects where you work in KadePay. It does not move payments or appointments between businesses.
YOU HAVE HELP
Start with the outcome. Ask Kady for the steps.
Open Kady from your KadePay menu and describe what you want your customer to do. Kady can explain the workflow, help you choose the right tool and guide you through setup.
"I already use KadePay for one business. How do I add a second business profile under the same login and switch between them on my computer or phone?"
Review your settings and customer page before sharing. When an editor offers Create with Kady or writing help, you can work on the draft there too.
