Gmilut Chasadim Matanya Moshe

Gmilut Chasadim Matanya Moshe was founded by Rabbi Bar Shalom in memory of his son, Matanya Moshe, who tragically passed away at only six years old.

Matanya Moshe was a pure and innocent boy, full of light and love. He was always smiling, always giving and always thinking about others. Our organization was created to carry that kindness forward and keep his beautiful spirit alive.

Throughout the year, we help over 120 families in need, including widows and orphans, the sick, struggling families, brides and grooms, and IDF soldiers.

Every person is helped based on their individual needs. A bride may receive help paying for her wedding. A family struggling to buy groceries may receive a prepaid card to purchase what they need. A child may receive a new coat and clothing for the holidays, and a soldier may receive important equipment and support.

Our door is open to anyone going through a difficult time, regardless of religion, race or gender. Every request is reviewed carefully and handled personally, with dignity and respect.

Every shekel donated goes directly toward helping people who truly need it.

Together, we can continue Matanya Moshe’s legacy and bring help, warmth and hope to another person or family.
